Traumatized and lonely, as a teenager he would find solace in computers and revenge movies. He was active in his high school's Science, Computing and Chess Clubs, but alienated the other members with his sarcastic dismissals, unsportsmanlike attitude, and his incessant talk about Steven Seagal movies. He opted for an MCSE qualification instead of a college diploma, and found work as an IT support specialist at a large accounting firm where the employees now dread any computer malfunctions.
